Day 13: God says you are…
When you are in a room at lahat ay magkakakilala, ikaw lang ang nag-iisang walang kausap, walang katabi – di ba sobrang nakakalungkot? You are not alone yet you feel lonely. But there is no substitute to the satisfying feeling that you are known and given importance.
I took up a second course (which I was not able to finish) so I know how it feels like to be “unknown”. During group discussions, during group works, madalas akong left behind or huling napipili para sa mga grupo. Medyo malungkot, kasi mahirap makahanap ng friends who I can easily connect with. And I thank God for the few number of acquaintances I had during my stay in that particular university.
It’s a good thing to be known.
It’s good to note that God knows us very intimately. He is more than a confidant, more than a counselor. He knows us by name, He knows our walk and talk. Not just because He is all-knowing, but because He loves us so much that He is interested to have a significant part in our daily life. The question is, are you giving Him that significant part?
O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
